Candlelit Studio was a small tool for writing branching stories — a place to draft something that reads differently depending on who's reading it. It ran from late 2025 through September 2026. It's closed now.

If you wrote something here, it wasn't deleted. Every story, every draft, and the full version history was archived before the servers were switched off.

Getting your stories back

Email support@candlelit.studio from the address you signed up with, and you'll get your work back as readable text plus the original files.

There's no deadline on this and no cost. The archive is kept offline and isn't going anywhere.

Stories that were published to itch.io are unaffected — those builds are self-contained and keep working whether or not this site exists.
